This quick session is the fastest way to get comfortable with the XBAR. You’ll see the core movements, how to set your stance, how to control tension, and how to keep every rep clean. It’s set to a soundtrack by legendary music producer Dave Audé, so yes, this is the rare “instructional video” that actually feels like a vibe. Watch it once to learn the basics, then come back anytime you want a fast reset on form and flow.
In about 15 minutes, we walk through the key patterns you’ll use most: push, pull, hinge, squat, and core. You’ll learn how to position the bar, manage band tension, and keep smooth tempo without letting the bands “snap” you through the easy parts. If you’re brand new, start here. If you’ve trained with XBAR before, this is the perfect refresher when your form starts getting “creative” (we’ve all been there).
How to Get the Most Out of This Session
Watch once straight through, then re-watch and pause to practice each move for 30–60 seconds. Start with lighter resistance so you can lock in alignment and tempo. Focus on controlled reps, steady breathing, and keeping tension on the band through the full range of motion. If something feels off, it’s usually stance, grip, or band length — tiny tweaks make a big difference. After you’ve practiced, pick one workout from the library and run it immediately while the patterns are fresh.
Use light resistance the first time — form first, intensity later.
Control the negative (the lowering phase) — that’s where results live.
Stop 1–2 reps early if form breaks — quality beats chaos.
Next Steps
Once you’ve got the fundamentals down, choose a path: follow a structured program, jump into guided workouts, or build your own session based on your goals. If you want maximum results with short, powerful workouts, the 75 Day Extreme plan is a great next step. If you’re still dialing in setup and accessories, the Getting Started resources will make everything feel simple and repeatable.
