Whether you prefer strength training, high-intensity intervals, mobility flows, or full-body circuits, the XBAR gives you the flexibility to design sessions that match your fitness goals, your schedule, and your personal style.
Why create your own class? Everyone’s body and goals are different. Some people want to increase strength, others want to burn calories, and many just want to stay active while traveling or working from home. Creating your own class allows you to take control of your training and focus on what matters most to you. Plus, the variety keeps workouts exciting and helps you stay consistent over the long term.
How to structure a class: Start with a 3–5 minute warm-up using lighter resistance bands. Then move into your main workout, which can include pushing and pulling movements for the upper body, squats and deadlifts for the lower body, and core-focused planks or twists for stability. End with a cooldown that stretches major muscle groups and helps your body recover. A typical class can last 20–40 minutes, depending on your energy and time available.
Sample class format:
- Warm-Up: Band pull-aparts, air squats, light presses (3 minutes)
- Strength Block: Rows, overhead presses, curls, and triceps pushdowns (10 minutes)
- Lower Body Block: Squats, lunges, hip thrusts, and kickbacks (10 minutes)
- Core & Finisher: Plank rows, rotations, and banded mountain climbers (5 minutes)
- Cooldown: Stretch hamstrings, chest, and shoulders (3–5 minutes)
Tips for success: Write down your class outline before starting so you can move quickly between exercises. Choose resistance levels that challenge you while allowing for proper form. If training with friends or family, rotate stations or time blocks to make it feel like a group fitness class. You can even play your favorite music playlist to boost energy and motivation.
